Integrated X-Ray, Checkweighing and Optional Vision Inspection

The Techik XCV Series integrates intelligent X-ray inspection and dynamic checkweighing in a single unit, with optional top and bottom vision inspection. The system can inspect internal foreign bodies and defects while checking product weight, and the optional vision configuration can extend inspection to surface contaminants, visual flaws, seal defects and coding errors.

Combining several inspection functions can replace multiple inline machines, increase inspection efficiency and reduce installation space and total ownership cost. Final inspection coverage depends on the product, packaging format and selected configuration.

Integrated X-Ray, Checkweighing and Optional Vision Inspection

Key Benefits

• Integrated X-ray inspection and dynamic checkweighing in one system.

• Optional top and bottom vision inspection for external surface and packaging checks.

• Built-in intelligent detection algorithms designed for stable recognition, anti-interference performance and complex products.

• IoT-ready interfaces, smart alerts, remote maintenance support and time-stamped traceability records.

• Quick-release belts and curtains for easier daily cleaning and maintenance.

• Six models covering standard, high-precision and long-pack applications.

Inspection Capability

Inspection Need XCV Capability Selection Consideration
Internal foreign bodies and defects Intelligent X-ray inspection Actual sensitivity depends on the inspected product
Weight deviations Dynamic checkweighing Select the model for product weight, dimensions and required output
Surface contaminants and visual flaws Optional top and bottom vision inspection Confirm the camera configuration and inspected surfaces
Seal defects and coding errors X-ray and optional vision inspection Confirm the relevant defect types for the packaging

Three Inspection Functions in One Unit

Inspect inside the package with X-ray technology

The X-ray system examines products for internal foreign bodies and defects. Listed sensitivity values for SUS304, glass and ceramic test pieces are empty-machine test results; actual sensitivity depends on the product being inspected.

Check product weight dynamically

The integrated checkweigher identifies weight deviations while products move through the system. Across the range, listed weighing capacities extend from 2–600 g for high-precision models to 20–6,000 g for long-pack models.

Add top and bottom vision inspection where required

Optional top and bottom vision inspection can support checks for surface contamination, visual flaws, seal defects and coding errors. Vision inspection is optional, so camera configuration and inspection coverage should be defined for the application.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is vision inspection included as standard?

No. The XCV Series integrates X-ray inspection and dynamic checkweighing. Top and bottom vision inspection is optional.

Which models suit small, lightweight products?

The XCV-1515-H and XCV-2215-H have a listed weighing range of 2–600 g. Compare product dimensions, scale interval, weighing accuracy and required throughput before selecting a model.

Can one system inspect internal and external defects?

The system supports internal X-ray inspection and optional external vision checks. Relevant defect types and inspection coverage must be confirmed for the product and configuration.

Does the 0.3 mm SUS304 ball sensitivity apply to every product?

No. The 0.3 mm value is an empty-machine test result. Actual sensitivity depends on the inspected product.

Can the equipment be customized?

Yes. Other dimensions and special requirements can be customized. Provide the product dimensions and production-line requirements when requesting a configuration.

Request an Inspection Assessment

Share the product type, packaging format, dimensions, target weight, required throughput and contaminants or defects to be inspected. Include conveyor height, reject-method preferences and any requirement for top and bottom vision inspection so Techik can define the appropriate XCV configuration.
