The Techik TXR-P Series X-Ray Inspection System is designed for in-line inspection of sauces, oils, beverages and other pumpable products. A straight-through product path connects directly to existing pipelines, allowing liquids, pastes and semi-solid products to be inspected for high-density contaminants during production.
The system detects contaminants such as metal, glass and ceramic. Its compact configuration can be matched to pipe diameter, product flow, reject method and cleaning requirements, supporting practical integration into new or existing production lines.
• High-sensitivity detection of metal, glass, ceramic and other high-density contaminants.
• Designed for pumpable liquid, paste and semi-solid products.
• Straight-through product path for direct in-line pipeline integration.
• Quick-release pipeline design for easier disassembly and routine cleaning access.
• Flexible configuration around pipe diameter, throughput, reject method and connection layout.
• Three standard pipe sizes for high-throughput applications: 60, 80 and 100 mm.
The TXR-P Series is suitable for sauces, oils, beverages and other liquid or semi-liquid products transported through a pipeline. It supports paste, semi-solid and liquid product forms. Final configuration should be selected according to the product formulation, flow characteristics and production process.
Pumped product enters the inspection area through the straight-through pipeline. The X-ray generator and detector examine the product flow for high-density foreign material. The system then handles the result as follows:
1. Product flow passes through the X-ray inspection area.
2. The X-ray generator and detector analyze the product for contaminants.
3. OK: accepted product continues downstream through the product outlet.
4. NG: an alarm is activated and the contaminated product is discharged.
A three-way arc-valve reject system can be configured for contaminated-product discharge. Pipe length, reject-valve position, connection type and discharge arrangement are application-specific. Rated throughput requires the extended-buffer-pipe discharge configuration.
| Inspection Need | TXR-P Capability | Application Consideration |
| Metal contaminants | X-ray detection in pumped products | Actual sensitivity must be confirmed by product testing |
| Glass and ceramic contaminants | Detection of high-density foreign material | Product composition and operating conditions affect performance |
| Pumpable product inspection | Liquids, pastes and semi-solid products | Match pipe diameter, flow and reject configuration to the application |
| Model | Internal Pipe Diameter | Rated Throughput* |
| TXR-P2-60 | 60 mm | 4 t/h |
| TXR-P2-80 | 80 mm | 9 t/h |
| TXR-P2-100 | 100 mm | 14 t/h |
* Rated throughput is calculated using water or a product of similar density and requires the extended-buffer-pipe discharge configuration. Actual throughput depends on product density, viscosity, temperature, particle or air-bubble content, and discharge method.
